CURRENT JOB OPENING:

Full Time Painter / Make Ready 

JOB DESCRIPTION: to be in charge of make ready work and painting of apartment units and misc make ready duties to assist in placing apartment units back in service to be rented. 

Weekend and after hours work may be required.

JOB DUTIES:

• Prep unit for make ready work, to include removal of unnecessary items and clean up in preparation for painting. 

• Prep and painting of interior and exterior of apartment units and buildings.  To include scraping as necessary, glazing, caulking priming and painting. 

• Final clean up, basic repairs of make ready units and processing of work orders to maintenance for any major maintenance repair items.

• Work seamlessly with management to schedule the painting of ongoing vacated to meet occupancy deadlines.  

• Complete the painting and misc other tasks in a timely manner while protecting all other surfaces from paint materials. 

• Manages the tools and materials needed to complete the tasks.

• Provide feedback on efficient systems to complete the tasks and to supply and maintain required materials.

• Maintain good attendance record 

• Communicates with management and maintenance supervisors routinely regarding repairs needed to apartment units.

• Comply with all OSHA, EPA and other Safety rules, requirements, procedures and guidelines

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experienced painting skills

• Transportation and a valid driver's license required
